Probability Classics:-

The original classics on probability are Bayes and Laplace. They give the basic rules, such as Bayes’ rule, for classical ‘probability is just a number’, derived from considerations of gambling. Ramsey is credited with founding ‘subjective probability’.

Contrary to what some think, none maintain that all uncertainties are like this.
